These 1/4 x 1" Thread Forming Screws feature a Pan Head with a Six-Lobe Drive and are made from 18-8 Stainless Steel. Thread Forming Screws create mating threads by displacing material rather than cutting it, making them useful in softer materials where strong thread engagement is desired. High-low thread Forming Screws feature alternating thread heights that improve holding performance and reduce driving torque in plastic, wood, and other softer materials.
