These 3/8-16 Hex Flange Locknuts are made from case hardened steel and have serrations underneath the flange. Hex flange locknuts combine a prevailing or locking feature with an integrated flange to improve load distribution and resistance to loosening. They feature a Zinc Yellow Finish, which is a zinc plating with a yellow chromate conversion coating that provides increased corrosion resistance over clear zinc and is commonly used in industrial and general-purpose fastening applications.
