Sometimes known as stop nuts, nylon insert locknuts are a great solution for a strong, semi-permanent nut to use with machine screws or bolts. We carry several styles, including domed cap nuts; flange style; heavy hex; heavy hex thin; high type; light hex standard & light hex thin. Light hex standard is the most commonly used style.

Our nylon insert locknuts are available in 18-8 & 316 stainless steel; standard steel, along with grades 5 & 8; and in class 8 in metric sizes. Finishes include black oxide; black zinc; zinc & yellow zinc.

Standard sizes range from a #2 with 56 threads per inch up to a 2" with 4.5 threads per inch, while metric sizes range from M2.5 up to M24.
