These #8 x 1 1/2" Drywall Screws feature a Bugle Head with a Square Drive and are made from Steel. Drywall Screws are designed for fastening drywall to wood or metal framing. They feature a Phosphate Finish, Black or Gray in color, which offers moderate corrosion protection and improved paint adhesion and is commonly used as a base coat in manufacturing applications. A Bugle Head features a smoothly curved countersinking profile that helps reduce material tearing and is commonly used in drywall and wood fastening. A Square drive, also known as a Robertson drive, uses a square recess that provides strong torque transfer and reduced cam-out. These screws have Fine Twinfast Threads for attaching drywall to metal studs 25 - 20 gage thick.
